Bronchial Foreign Body Complicated with Lung Abscess

Abstract
|
|
|
Foreign body in the air passage occurs most frequently in children and may produce serious symptoms and signs. Since it is difficult to remove the foreign body in the air passage, especially in infants and children, it is somtimes considered as fatal disease.
A recent case of bronchial foreign body complicated with lung abscess in a 11 month old infant cured by antibiotics therapy and fiberoptic bronchoscopic removal through tracheostomy wound.
This paper was attempted to report the case with a brief review of references.
